The main concept for the use of the new coworking space in the functionalist ARA Palace (once focused on the sale of design, fashion and clothing) was reference to the typology of a department store, where the main goods on offer are modern, intangible products – ideas, thoughts, innovations and talent. Each floor is named after a different business environment – showroom, market, arcade, pop-up shops and platform. The premises consist of meeting tables, relaxation zones, meeting rooms, telephone booths. Other parts of the interior are simple and made of uniform materials.
The interior of the business environment is completed by lighting made with the use of fishnet bags, shopping baskets, boxes, clothes hangers or billboards. In combination with the precise and modern Lipo80, Lipo80-S and Vali-T luminaires, it creates a space not only beautiful to look at, but also functional and healthy for everyone. The luminaires were delivered in cooperation with our partner HABARTline.
The graphics used in the premises enhance the inspiring atmosphere and refer to Czech products, looking for originality and motivation for newly emerging startups. Meeting areas are equipped with playful features such as write-on walls or office vehicles (skateboard, scooter). Other walls are dedicated to local artists and to ideas coming from the Hubhub members.
